Translation: is a sort of communication. It is the transphare of intended message, and this is the purpose of language itself
There are two types of translation

Spoken translation (interpretation)
Interpretation: it can be defined as the translation of speech orally, as opposite to translation ofitten text
There are three types of interpretation
a
Simultaneous: it needs usually two or more interpreters. It begins before the speaker has finished his/her speech, using special equipments like; headphones, computers
It's used in large events conference
b
Consecutive: it needs two or more interpreters. It begins immediately after the speaker has finished his/her speech. Such type used in smaller conference, especially in courtroom settings , interview in TV
c
Liaison: It starts after the speaker has finished his/her speech. It's used for business, interpreting trade conversation(confession) and other business situation, within this process there is one interpreter
