Nefertiti is one of the most famous ancient Egyptians .
she lived 3400 years ago .her father was probably a soldier but we don,t know her date of birth or where she was born.
Nefetiti's hasbund was called Akhneaton he became king
of Egypt in 1353 BC .they had 6 daughters but no sons.Nefertiti's first daughter were born in 1346 BC.
another daughter was called Meketaton,died at the age of 6.
Nefertiti lived at a time of change .
she was important because she helped her husband with a new religion in Egypt.
in temples you can see many picture of Nefertiti praying with the king .
In 1349 BC they changed thier names because of the new religion .
and in 1348 BC they moved to new city "Amarna.
we know what Nefertiti looked like because of a fantastic 3000 years old sculpture of her which scientists found in1912 . because of the sculpture Nefertiti is often called one of the most beautifal woman in the world.
People think Nefertiti died in Akhenaton's fourteenth year as king one year after death of her daughter .
and other think she retired to ahouse in Amarna.
