thanks Ertiah , if it is for speaking English fluently it wouldn't be an issue for those who speak as native English speakers , unfortunately this theory is inaccurate , French is an absolutely different language from English except in some words and this in Arabic too , however learning a language perfectly needs necessarily socializing with native speakers .

hi brother.. it is good to learn other languages. am happy for your strong will to learn french or spanish. they both belong to the phrancophonic branch of linguistics.

i do share Ertiah 's point of view; your knowledge of english may help you to learn other languages. here is a simple reason: some french words are copied into english. this fact will help you to dicepher the meaning of some french words. and this surely will help you; partially; in french acquisition

on the other hand i do share your point of view; learning a language cant be fruitful without getting in contact with native speakers and imitating their pronunciation

anyway; i do speak french and i will be grateful to teach you some french. if you have any suggestins of how can we do this; just let me know

first spanish is so easy than both
english and frensh
english comes in the middle of
easiest language aquisition
for spanish you need only to listen to native
speaker movies very well
for frensh you should have some
courses in grammar and spelling
plus to listening
this is my hiostory with languages
and surely will help you

well < dear sisters , i can't imagine how strong ladies when working along side you probably can control a country , Ertiah opened our eyes up on something that we may can have a deep thought to recognise it , as she said and Sister Hadil there could be many words that are used in English , Spanish and Frensh . However i still find it a bit tricky as we need to sort out the pronounciation differences , because i live in England and i can see that people can not even dare to say a single word and my french pal has tried to give some notic that may help , but as soon as she just start translating or explaining we find our self drifting to another subject in English .

Whatever said here is alright as Dear Om Nafies claims that Spanish is easier than English and French , yes of course , what you said is right as when i listen to whom speak Spanish at the bus stop or in the class room , i can pick up words faster and with better pronounciation than French . but as soon as they leave i forget every thing as a result of Speaking English all the time

my main priority is to pick up another language whether French or Spanish it is , no matter how difficult it is or how long it's going to take , learning languages is my hobby as well as travelling .

i'm certainly going to do some languages such as French , Spanish and Italian at the university as i study International Tourism Managment but it would be as poor as studying languages in my country as we studied English 6 years before i travel to England but when i turned up i couldn't say one single sentence properly .

so somehow i must do achieve this thing .

i have to say something to om nafis... you know darling that linguistically speaking we cannot say that a language is easier or better or more expressive or or ..... than another one. this is not true

for HOdaifa i want to say that this dont believe om nafis. believe in yourself and be sure that judgments we have efore learning a language will affct the process of our learning to this language. wether those judgments are positive or negative. in the field of language teaching thois is called "language aptitude

am thinking about translating some simple expressions from english into french

do you think it would be helpful

i know you wont speak french by doing this
but at least you will know some basic expressions
that you make use of when you are in a situation
that will need only simple conversations

what if you are pleased to give us some words with itten pronunication in Arabic
does it seem a good idea ?
