here i am with my expressions
i ll provide you with the ones we use in greetings
and am giving their meaning in English
where have you been........آفين or فين هاد الغبرا
happy to see you........ أشرقت الأنوار
we miss you.......... توحشناك
it is said in the first person plural even if the speaker is talking only about himself
this show that he is so happy to meet the second speaker. and the expression
توحشتك is rarely used
this expression is used among lovers; they cant express others' feelings
how is your family........ كيدايرين مالين الدار
good evening.......... الله يسعد المسا or مساء الأنوار
how are you.......... كيداير for males
كيدايرا for femaes
see you......... الله المعين
while saying those expressions; we stress all the words --- in Marrakesh--- so as to
show enthusiasm and happiness for talking to the second speaker. this
gives the conversation a kind of warmth
